Birdsnest Coral

Birdsnest corals come in a variety of growth patterns and colors.  In general Birdsnest corals grow thin branches ending in tapered or pointy ends.   It seems like more and more color patterns are becoming available in the pet trade all the time but the two most common are the pink and green Birdsnest.

Frag mounting: Horizontal vs Vertical

As far as fragging SPS the act is pretty basic. Take a mother colony, break a few branching pieces off, then glue them to a piece of rubble rock or frag plug.  However, does it matter if you mount the newly fragged coral horizontal verses mounting it vertical?
